Boy 5's Celebration

We had a lot of fun last night for Boy 5's birthday. He requested spaghetti with meatballs for dinner, so that is what we had, along with garlic cheesy toast and corn. He had fun making his cake and did a great job. Girlie did the decorating from left over decorations we had downstairs. She used a graduation cap for Boy 5 and then the rest of us got New Years Eve hats!! She was thrilled to give everyone straws for their drinks (I don't know about you..but we never use them). We all got into the spirit of the evening. Even my 20 year old and 23 year old had a good time and wore their hats willingly. We surprised him with a letter jacket. His mom came over to present it to him (she went in with us on it). I think he was really surprised and thrilled. He lettered in cross country and the marching band gets a letter their 2nd year. He will probably also letter in track this spring, but we didn't add that on yet.
Looks good huh? Next of our 5 December birthdays comes on Monday! Boy 4 will be 16.
